11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Lunch and Learn

This class is free unless you would like to purchase a boxed deli style lunch.

With the economic pressures in today’s environment, HR staffs are being forced to do more with less. How does an HR professional maximize these limited resources to provide an efficient transactional function while also making time to promote a strategic orientation for the organization? Attend this session and learn new processes and behaviors that will save you time and will ensure you get to the important strategic issues and projects. HR Professionals will become more effective to allow them the time and energy needed to be a valued member of the C-Suite team.”

Too many times, productivity is compromised by a lack of organization among key staff members and often it is the key staff members assigned to hold others accountable for their performance that face the greatest difficulty in keeping themselves on track. That person is the Human Resources professional.

If the increasing responsibilities associated with maintaining an effective HR operation are challenging your abilities to stay organized, then it may be time to abandon past practices and move forward with a well-defined plan of personal and professional organizational techniques. Don’t allow being disorganized to hurt your business or your performance.

Attend the session “Organize or Agonize”, presented by Alex J. Seltzer, SPHR to begin to understand the issues facing today’s information aged workers and what you can do about it. Learn new processes and behaviors that will save you time and increase your productivity. Understand the difference between “urgent” and “important” and how to consistently get to the important things while maintaining the urgent.

Alex will demonstrate ways to Work Smarter in Microsoft Office Outlook by revealing time-tested proven processes that will save you time and help you to “clear the mind clutter”.

Alex took a workshop presented by Priority Management over 12 years ago when he found himself disorganized and challenged to get the “right things done”. After years of putting into practice the processes and behaviors he learned he became associated with the company in 2007 and became a Priority Management certified time management coach and facilitator a year later.
