Position Description
Directs Performance Managers, Agency Trainers, Personal Lines GrowthConsultants, Life Sales Specialists, and Commercial Whole Sellers intraining, sales distribution, and service to achieve and sustainprofitable growth (i.e., writing new business, retaining existingbusiness, provide quality service, increasing market share and productmix). Manages and coordinates the sales and service activities ofagents, to increase new business and retention in all product offerings.Responsible for the attainment of profitable Policy-in-Force growth,loss ration, service and FIG earnings objectives. Works closely withthe Center Director and Performance Managers to develop and executesales plans, initiative introduction and profit improvement strategies.
Position Requirements
Reviews and evaluates the results obtained by agents to recognizeoutstanding accomplishment, and when necessary provided recommendationto the Performance Managers on actions that need to be taken to remedyweaknesses.Observes, evaluates, and monitors the productivity and progress of thePerformance Managers, Agency Trainers, Personal Lines GrowthConsultants, Life Sales Specialists, and Commercial Whole Sellers;provides analysis with recommendations for changes to Center Director.Works with Center Director to coordinate all product initiatives.Responsible for the execution of sales training and integration/usage ofvarious tools and application designed to accelerate profitable growthand retention.Implements corrective action plans to address areas of unprofitabilityas identified though the analysis and recommendations provided by thePortfolio Underwriters.Works with Center Director, Performance Manager and Finance Manager indeveloping marketing plans to meet established growth goals. Preparescenter and division analysis to identify deficiencies and developcorrective action plans. Analyzes competitor information and makesrecommendations on product and pricing changes. Provides feedback toHome Office Product Management regarding local conditions effectingproduct and pricing strategies.Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required job duties are normally performed in the field working with the Agents in a climate-controlled office environment.
Education Requirements
Four-year college degree.
Property/Casualty, Life, 6,63 & 26 licenses required.
Experience Requirements
Five years experience with FIG, including 2 years of Marketing exposurein a salary grade of 35 or above, or applicable Business DevelopmentCenter experience.Knowledge of coverage and pricing of all business offeringsKnowledge of company s vision, organizational structure, culture,philosophy, operating principles, values and code of ethics.Understands and applies techniques to manage multiple priorities.Posses a high level of motivation to achieve necessary involvement within a team.
Special Skills Requirements
Must obtain Property, Casualty, and Life licenses with in 6 months.Must obtain Series 6, 63, and 26 within 6 months.Knowledge or experience with various sales distribution methods, i.e.direct, internet, etc.Written and verbal communication skills.Organizational and project management skills, Personal Computer Skills(Microsoft Suite, Internet, Lotus Notes, Lotus Databases).
