Responsibilities:
DataComm is a nearly $1 billion Global Industry Business Unit (GIBU) that is part of the Communications and Industrial Solutions segment of TE. This GIBU is looking for strategic leaders who can envision the future state, are driven to execute a plan to get there and can energize the organization along the way.
Position Overview
This role will lead the CIS DataComm Operations Fiber organization. This role will also work closely with the Product Focus Teams, Customer Focus Teams and the TE Centralized Operations group. Successful candidates will be able to collaborate and align with industry business strategies in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish the strategic vision for Fiber Operations and develop a comprehensive plan to get there.
* Align the operations organization structure and capabilities with the GIBU, Segment and Company strategies.
* Effectively leverage all company resources to achieve performance targets
* Successfully collaborate across boundaries, i.e. cultural, geographic, business unit, etc.
* Demonstrate talent leadership through: recruiting, evaluating, developing and managing human capital in a way that results in increased engagement
Requirement:
Qualifications, Experiences & Knowledge:
* Operations or manufacturing engineering degree. Masters preferred, but not required.
* 5+ years of relevant operations experience with significant global exposure preferred.
* Previous exposure to LEANPD and Six-Sigma required. Six-Sigma Master Black Belt preferred.
* Knowledge of DataComm related manufacturing processes and applications is desirable.
* Demonstrated experience leading a team and achieving desired results.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to build strong, credible relationships across a matrixed organization.
