We are seeking an engineer with practical experience in wastewater and water planning, design and project management for municipal clients in the Pittsburgh or western Pennsylvania market area. This person will be expected to perform project management duties and perform detailed facilities design for municipal wastewater and water treatment facilities under the direction of a senior engineer. Candidate must be a team player with excellent communication skills and be willing to interact with clients and serve as a resident inspector on projects under construction.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

-Three or more years of progressively responsible experience as a consulting engineer in the municipal water/wastewater industry.
-Treatment plant design experience including development of conceptual/preliminary designs, detailed design document preparation, and design during construction
-Solid written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation
-Demonstrated project management experience including attendance at client Board Meetings, proposal preparation, and experience with Chapter 94 Wasteload Management Reports, Sewer System or Water System Annual Reports, and Act 537 Plans.
-B.S. degree in civil or environmental engineering; M.S. a plus. PE preferred, or ability to obtain PA PE within 12 months required
