Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Level Civil/Highway Engineer, BSCE Degree with an emphasis in highways. The successful candidate will have 8+ years experience in transportation related projects.

Candidates generally perform the role(s) of Civil Discipline Task Leader and/or Deputy Project Manager. Responsibilities of these roles include:

* Oversees the production of Civil Engineering aspects of transportation projects.

* Provides technical direction to and mentors project technical support teams.

* Ensures Corporate Quality Assurance Procedures are followed.

* Meeting client quality, schedule and budget expectations.

* Interacts with client and oversees Sub-consultants.

* Assists Project Manager with various tasks including developing scope, schedule & budget.

This is a prominent role and outstanding opportunity for an ambitious, career oriented professional who excels in a team environment.

Specific Requirements: Professional Engineering Registration in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain PA registration within 6 months is desirable. Experience w/ &/or understanding of multiple elements of civil engineering design, including but not limited to the following are desirable:

* highway design (alignments/geometry, guide rail, pavement, traffic control, etc.),

* plan and contract document preparation

* drainage,

* erosion & sediment pollution control,

* hydrology & hydraulics,

* stormwater management

* permitting

*
utilities

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike experience desirable.

Familiarity with Microstation, and InRoads or Geopak is preferred.
