Acuren is seeking motivated, hard-working, Assistant Technician to grow with our company. Assistant Technicians, must have sand blasting and painting experience and cannot be afraid of heights. Strong desire to work in this type of industry a must! Self-disciplined and self-motivated individuals with strong accountability (attention to details) skills and ability to work while unsupervised are what we are looking for. Must be willing to travel extensively
Physical Demands:
Physical and visual activities commonly associated with the performance of the functions on this job include: standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stepping, crawling, reaching, twisting, bending, handling, and laying on back. Must be able to support own weight in roped safety harness.

Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions:
The job may be subject to all weather conditions; inside and outside environments, volatile industry situations (petrochemical, oil refinery, pulp and paper mill); confined spaces; and extreme heights.*

* PPE and Confined Space training and safety equipment will be provided to all technicians to insure a safe working environment at all times.

Education:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Experience:
Work experience in welding or manufacturing industry preferred, but not required.

Mechanically inclined and/or oriented individual desirable.

Skills:
Computer Skills; Excellent writing and strong verbal communication skills needed.
