Position Description:
The Web Producer—Student Services, works to provide and maintain Web sites for all EDMC
Online brands that support student services. This producer also serves as a liaison between
Web Strategies, Creative Services, EDMC Online Operations and Corporate Services, and holds
an understanding of all elements, processes and players associated with student support
process. The candidate for this position approaches this job with a “game changing” attitude;
with a desire to make a true impact in online education.

Key Job Elements:

Drives a consistent, scalable Web-based end –to-end student experience.

Creates Web environments to support the needs of the online student and provide
automation that supports growth and scale to the organization

Works with the Vice President of Operations to integrate student needs and business work
flow, scale and efficiency.

Drives successful initiatives working in a matrixed environment.

Works effectively with technical and creative team members.

Tracks key Web traffic metrics to measure and ensure efficacy of entire Student Services
site(s).

Works to thorough understandable the potential of the internet and how best to apply it to
student experience.

Drives web solutions with an understanding of usability, scalability and reliability.

Position Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar field. eCommerce or web concentration
desirable. MBA a plus.
Minimum of 5 years web related experience with increasing responsibility. Expereince as a Web
producer preferred.
Experience with student or other online services processes activities delivered through a Web
environment
Knowledge and understanding of information architecture and web usability
Must have an understanding of all aspects of Web content delivery – front end and back end
Solid understanding of Web analytics and Web Analytics software. Omniture software
experience is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent teamwork, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Customer service-oriented
Must be a self-starter with a can-do attitude
Excellent research skills, analytical skills and be detail-oriented
Experience working with geographically distributed teams helpful.
Occasional flexibility with hours required.
May require occasional overnight travel.
