Are you an experienced licensed Registered Nurse looking for a new opportunity in the Gibsonia area? We have that fantastic per diem opportunity for you!

In this position, you will assist Certified School Nurses with duties, projects as assigned, such as
'Screens students who present symptoms of a health-related problem.
'Administers emergency first aid services in accordance with established medical procedure and Board policy.
'Administers student medication, in accordance with written physician's orders and Board policy.
'Coordinates on-site emergency care for staff members and visitors.
'Provides health services as required for students with special health needs.
'Reports pertinent data relating to student health issues to the Certified School Nurse.
'Assists Certified School Nurse to examine students before exclusion or re-admission to school in connection with infectious and contagious diseases. (TB, head lice, impetigo, ringworm, etc.)
'Calls for and coordinates on-site EMS response teams.
'Coordinates with Certified School Nurse to monitor immunization data on student health records.
'Under direction of the Certified School Nurse, initiates follow-up contacts with sending schools of transfer students to obtain necessary health record information.
'Assists with various screening procedures (height, weight, vision, hearing, scoliosis, etc.) as directed by the Certified School Nurse.
'Documents school accident reports according to Board policy.
'Restocks health room supplies and maintains inventory.
'Serves as a member of building committees as needed.
'Perform duties in accordance with contract.

EXPERIENCE:
Experiences in nursing; experience in emergency care and/or pediatrics is desirable. Student assistance or conflict resolution training and experiences are highly desirable.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid PA registered nurse license, Current criminal record/child abuse clearances required; CPR trained.
