Job: WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

SUCCESSFUL 30 YEAR OLD COMPANY IN PITTSBURGH SEEKS A HANDS-ON
WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR/HELPER TO SUPPORT A 15,000 SQ FT WAREHOUSE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reports to the VP.

Establishes operational procedures approved by the VP

Monitors all activities including receiving, put-away, customer pick-ups, shipping
and security.

Assists Purchasing/Receiving Manager to assure Inventory Receipts are correct
and counted.

Determines space requirements in warehouse by optimizing product placement to
maximize storage capacity.

Assists Shipping Manager to decrease bottlenecks and increase packing
efficiency.

Maintain a strong floor presence with walk-throughs and inspections.

Provides warehouse support where needed with a hands-on attitude.

Maintain a safe working environment.

Keeps warehouse clean and hazard free.

Manage periodic inventory count

Relevant working experience in warehouse required/
QUALIFICATIONS:

Good organization skill

Ability to pay attention to detail and be accurate.

Physical requirements include walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting
material or equipment, some which may be heavy or awkward, typically less than 50 lbs.

This is a hands-on, do it yourself, role and not to support staff.
