Job: Family Focused Mental Health Professional

Family Based Mental Health Services provides intensive family and individual therapy, delivered in the home and community, to children with a diagnosed mental health condition, who are at risk for out-of-home placement. The service is team delivered by a therapist and case manager who focus on the mental health needs of the child, the relationships within the family system and the natural strengths of the family.

Requirements:
Master’s Degree in counseling related field area and one year of experience in a CASSP system program required.
One to three years working with children, teens, families or counseling experience required; case management experience preferred.
Must have audio/visual/verbal activity to provide supervision for the clients and to perform essential job functions.
Must have physical dexterity in order to assist in client physical interventions when necessary.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skill
A valid Pennsylvania driver's license is required.
Must be able to adapt hours to needs of position. May need to work evenings and/or weekend hours regularly, including providing on-call emergency services on a rotating basis.
Must have access to a telephone.
Must be able to remain organized despite pressured situations.
Must be eligible Act 33/34 and FBI clearances.
Must be able to identify with the agency Mission Statement and support the agency’s Core Values.
