Job: Residential Treatment Facility Unit Assistant Supervisor

Located on our main campus the Residential Treatment Facility is designed to meet the needs of youth ages 6 to 18 who have a psychiatric diagnosis and cannot be successfully maintained in their home environment. Our ultimate goal is to provide an intensive therapeutic healing experience thereby enabling children and their families to live rewarding lives. The Unit Assistant Supervisor has many responsibilities that includes maintaining the schedule within their unit making sure correct ratio is in place to stepping into a supervisory role if necessary..

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, education or a field in human services and one-year experience in a CASSP system program; or a high school diploma and 12-college level semester hours in humanities or human services and two years experience in a CASSP system program; or four years experience as a direct care worker at Glade Run Lutheran Services and successful completion of MHW III preferred.
Must have audio/visual/verbal activity to provide supervision for the clients and to perform essential job functions.
Must have physical dexterity in order to assist in physical interventions as necessary.
Must possess verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Must have access to a telephone.
Act 33/34 and FBI clearances.
Must be able to identify with the agency’s Mission Statement and support the agency’s Core Values.
