Job: Therapeutic Horticulture Program Assistant

self-esteem; and learn healthy ways to manage stress.

Requirements:
High school graduate. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Must have mobility and physical strength to perform all tasks of the horticulture program inclusive of watering plants, carrying soil, pots, and plants, digging, bending, staking, etc.
Must be able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Must have the audio/visual/verbal acuity to provide supervision for the clients and to perform essential job functions.
Must possess verbal and written communication skills.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Must have access to a telephone.
Must demonstrate initiative and follow through to completion on all projects; ability to adjust to change; to work independently; the ability and willingness to ask questions regarding specific job tasks or changes.
Must be able to adjust hours to job requirements.
Must be eligible to Act 33/34 and FBI clearances.
Must be able to identify with the agency Mission Statement and agency’s Core Values.
