Job: Accouting Assistant

The Academy System is a network of award-winning schools for court-adjudicated youth. Based in Western Pennsylvania and managed by leaders and innovators in the field of juvenile justice with over 30 years of experience, these schools are both community-based and residential, serving both local and out-of-state students.

Our Finance Department is seeking a loyal, confident and hardworking Accounting Assistant. Position responsibilities may include but are not limited to accounts payable, account analysis, medical billing and coordination of medical insurance/Medicaid coverage. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently. A minimum Associates degree and at least 3 years of accounting-related experience is required. In addition, knowledge of MAS90 software is preferred.
