The Retail Operations Project Manager has full scope responsibility to manage, facilitate, plan, and implement quality retail projects in conjunction with the Ace Retailer, and multiple business partners.

This position requires the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects. These projects may be classified as ground-up, expansions, retro fits, relocations, conversion, and special projects. The Project Manager will coordinate all resources, both internal and external, to meet established schedules for all projects assigned.

Assessing the retail potential in key existing Ace markets for the opportunity to Right Size/Right Place/Retrofit current Ace stores in an effort to maximize Ace market share while working closely with the District Manager will be key.

The Project Manager will periodically visit sites on all assigned projects to ensure proper installation of all work, administer punch list review and turn over to retailer and Retail District Manager upon completion. This individual will participate in team building, people development, and problem solving situations while incorporating Ace's 'Best Practices' to achieve successful project results.

Requirements

A successful candidate will possess the following:

* Full understanding of Ace Retail Programs, pro-forma development, retail business plan development, prior experience in new store planning & development and market/site evaluation
* Demonstrated consultative knowledge and experience with organizational practices that include merchandise assortment, organizational planning, pricing, store layout and design, advertising and financial analysis that includes budgeting.
* Leadership ability with strong verbal, written, and computer skills
* College degree desirable and/or formalized Project Management experience.
* Ability to travel up to 80% in the primary service area and as needed on special projects.
