Position Summary:

* Drive diesel-powered tractor-trailer, primarily during night time hours, to transport and deliver general commodities between terminals, which may include some customer deliveries, while applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations

* Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT regulations

* Read Delivery Receipt, Bill of Lading or trip sheet to determine assignment

* Maintain driver log according to FMCSA regulations

* Communicate with Dispatch via Qualcomm system and phone when needed

* Will also perform the functions of a Dockworker (drive propane-powered forklift or battery-operated pallet jack to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products to and from trailers and straight trucks into or out of the Warehouse; manual loading will be involved as required)

* May also perform the functions of a Yard Jockey (move trailers in yard and between terminals)

* Comply and adhere to FMC Safety Regulations

* Home daily and on weekends

Requirements

* Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement

* Minimum of 23 years of age

* 1 year of verifiable experience driving at night, or 3 years of experience with day / night driving combined

* No license suspensions (excluding non-moving violations) in the last 3 years

* No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years

* No unexplainable gaps in employment

* Ability to comply and adhere to FMC Safety Regulations
