Description

Responsibilities:

Assist in controlling cost of all financial claims against the Distribution Center by means of loss prevention, claims processing, communication and compiling statistical information relevant to cost containment and company or governmental guidelines. Maintain records and communication of all financial claims against the Distribution Center plus gathering necessary documentation of any cases. Assit the Risk Control Manager to preserve all Company assets and profits through risk control measures. Support the Risk Control Manager, and interact with Distriubtion Managers/Supervisors and other Department Managers, Workers' Compensation Claimants, and other associates, Insurance Company Representatives, and Attorney's, when necessary, to control the cost of operation by means of effective claims processing and investigation on all reports involving financial claims against the Division (Workers' Compensation, property damage, vehicle accidents, liability damanages, etc.)

Qualifications:

* Four year degree or equivalent experience required.
* Professional certification; such as GSP, ASP, CSP and/or ARM preferred.
* Working knowledge of federal, state, and local safety/health/environmental, and Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.
* Knowledge of industrial security best practices & procedures, medical, legal, and hazardous terminology.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule.
* Excellent PC skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Ability to effectively communicate with all associates of all levels.
