Responsibilities:
TE Connectivity is seeking an Telecom Analyst in the Facilities Operations department within the Facilities Services function. This position will be responsible for administering the various voice and messaging systems used by the company for the station side, user level. These systems include legacy telephone and voice mail technology, as well as IP technology, such as voice over IP. The scale varies from large projects, such as total system replacement or new site integration to daily move/add/change activity. Occasional travel is required. This role is in a department where multi-tasking is the norm. Additional tasks will be assigned in support of other information systems, or processes, used by the Facilities Services function.

Responsibilities:
* Enter system software changes in support of move/add/change activity
* Design and implement call routing for call centers using system admin tools or programming scripts
* Perform system backups
* Monitor system capacity or licenses vs. utilization
* Update related database applications
* Manage work requests for system administration, wiring and hardware installations
* Manage telecommunications wiring and hardware installation projects
* Manage telephone inventory
* Manage the inventory and requests for headsets
* Provide support to TE s Information Systems organization for systems installation
* Provide on-call support for trouble call resolution
* Provide user training
Qualifications:
* Degree in Engineering, Computer Technologies, or Telecommunications curriculum from an accredited institution (relevant long-term expertise may be considered as a substitute)
* 5-7 years experience administering Avaya telephone systems and/or Cisco Call Manager, Cisco IPCC, with Cisco experience being preferred
* Experience in system software administration and knowledge of operations to match system functionality to business needs
* In lieu of experience administering telephone and messaging systems directly, a strong technical background with ability to quickly develop proficiency with minimal training, will be considered
* Experience with structured cabling systems, CAT6
* Strong analytical skills for trouble call resolution
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Exceptional planning, organizational and time management skills
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Ability to coordinate a variety of projects / priorities
* Excellent computer skills
* Proactive, self-starter who will take initiative
* Works well under pressure / deadlines
