In Omnicare, we support our company’s purpose by delivering practical and innovative solutions to address the needs of continued care communities This critically important role is responsible for management and development of a team of Account Managers dedicated to maintaining client satisfaction and retention. This role will report to a Senior Director of Omnicare Account Management and will manage activities that develop the client relationship, support day-to-day client needs, as well as retain and expand existing business.

The District Director, Account Management LTC will have the opportunity to impact our business in the following ways:

- Manage the performance of a team of Account Managers in order to achieve retention goals and expansion targets, while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
- Ensure territory management achieves maximum scope and reach utilization, with an emphasis on cost efficiency and expense management
- Deliver proactive contract management that includes strategic contract analysis to determine appropriate renewal action plan, assist Account Managers with contract presentation and act as key negotiator
- Support Account Managers in Executive Review preparation, presentation, and follow through; attend client meetings as needed
- Identify at-risk accounts and consult with internal partners to assist with development of action plans to address customer risks and opportunities; attend client meetings as needed
- Provide support in resolution of complex client issues and requests, as well as assessment of client needs to expand existing business
- Partner with Strategic Account team on driving initiatives in local facilities of National and Regional accounts
- Project manage activities associated in onboarding new facilities
- Support Account Management leadership team with design and implementation of new initiatives
- Communicate and drive implementation and continued usage of CVS Health program and initiatives
- Accountable for recruiting, hiring, training, and engagement of team in order to deliver on department goals
- Responsible for coaching and development of team, to include full pipeline reviews
- Operate with strong business acumen and industry knowledge, remaining conscious of industry trends

This District Director of Account Management will manage Account Managers in the states California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, and Oklahoma and will need to reside on one of these states.

Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
- A minimum of 2 years of client account management leadership experience
- Prior experience managing remote colleagues
- Ability to travel regularly, up to 50%

The District Director, Account Management LTC will have proven client relationship and leadership skills with an exceptional track record of achieving results. The ideal candidate will possess the following professional qualifications:

- Demonstrated track record of success in leadership of client/account management teams in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated influence and consultative skills that deliver impactful solutions real time
- Proven success utilizing project management skills; ability to strategically and creatively solve problems when dealing with a multitude of variables where standard resolutions do not exist
- Strong financial and business acumen and contract negotiation skills
- Track record of proactively tackling issues in a decisive manner, while keeping broader organizational dynamics in mind
- Demonstrated ability to hold teams accountable in a fair, supportive, and equitable manner
- Track record of performing under pressure, adapting to changing dynamics, and finding solutions that lead to client satisfaction
- Effective presentation and negotiation skills
- Past industry-related experience preferred
- Long Term Care industry experience
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education :
- Bachelor’s Degree or related experience required
- BS in Nursing, Pharmacy or PharmD preferred
